Perfect your skin! Mini product review.

I had a voucher for Superdrug to use up so I purchased Garnier Body's Ultimate Beaty Oil, Skin Perfector purely because I recently saw the advert on TV. I've had hair oil from Teseme which worked a treat on my naturally curly hair but when I heard about oil for the skin I was intrigued to know how and if it works. If you would like to know what I thought of this product, read on :)

With Argan, Macadamia, Almond and Rose oils

I'll start by explaining that my skin is very pale, I don't tan easily, usually only after I burn, I have acne like pores on my chest and visible pores on the sides of my calfs. The rest of my legs, arms, stomach and back are relatively smooth and normal - so no where near perfect.

So, the product features Argan Oil, a particularly popular oil that has been featured in many hair and skin care products recently due to it's nourishing qualities. I tried Primark's Argan oil hair treatment which didn't seem to make much difference to the quality of my hair (naturally curly, frizzy and lacking shine) but that's another story. This product also includes Macadamia, Almond and Rose oil which the bottle claims to be precious oils that together will perfect and beautify your skin.

I applied the oil after I showered and towel dried. It's a spray nozzle which doesn't give a huge spritz - good because you don't want to be getting lots of oil on your clothes and furniture during application. It rubbed in very easily and very quickly, once I'd covered my whole body my skin was touch dry and I was ready to dress. My skin did feel instantly smoother and immediately after application it looked much more healthy and radiant. I have only used this a couple of times so it's hard to say if it will make much difference to my skin in the long run but I'm pleased with the results so far. Argan oil is supposed to be good for acne so I hope using this will improve the quality of  the skin on my chest. Another good point is that I haven't noticed any colour or stain transfer on my white underwear, which it claims won't happen on the bottle.

Also available in "Regenerating"

The oil has a slightly odd fragrance, I can't decide if I like it or not! It's not unpleasant or strong but sort of has the aroma of fake tan... That's the only negative I have so far.
