Introducing Lily & Rose Luxury Jewellery
22:53
I was lucky enough to be approached by Lily & Rose and invited to help introduce their jewellery brand to the UK. They are a Swedish brand and I was asked to choose three items from their online store and after having a look at their gorgeous stock on Instagram (@lilyandrosebyzetterberg), I was mega delighted! However, this was a much harder decision to make than originally thought! Lily & Rose specialise in luxury, occasion jewellery featuring lots of sparkles, crown jewels and beautiful gem stones - I was in girly heaven. If I had a special wedding or event coming up, I'd definitely have gone for some of the beautiful necklaces. I especially like this one for its delicate simplicity. Lily & Rose also stock a selection of hair accessories, bracelets and... Rings.
I went for three rings in the end (after much "ok those three. No. These three. No. This one, but not this one. Wait..") as I know I would get the most use out of these. I love rings, they are easily the piece of jewellery I wear most of all. I've recently been less fond of costume jewellery from shops such as Primark, RI, Newlook etc and more interested in those made from precious metals. I'm happy to spend a bit more money on something that is going to last and not leave me with a green stain on my finger at the end of the day. Side note: I have never been one to wear a piece of jewellery ALL the time because I only ever bought cheapy stuff but I now own several slightly more expensive pieces that mean something to me and I tend to wear often/all the time. Hence, the band ring on my middle finger in some of the photos. It is a ring I bought at Christmas to remember my Grandad, I bought it with the last bit of money he gave me. It is sterling silver and it never leaves my finger... And it's kinda stuck... As much as I tried to get it off for taking photos of the Lily & Rose rings, it just wouldn't budge! It's actually got a diamond sat in it but I turned it to face the other way so it wouldn't be too distracting from the actual rings I'm trying to show you haha! Bloody hell, I'm rambling. Just ignore that ring is what I'm saying!!...
So, onto the rings!
I'm so chuffed with my choices! The three rings came beautifully packaged and sparkling beautifully when I opened them. On first impressions, they felt a little weighty so this made me think they were pretty good quality and they were super shiny, sparkly and the colours looked gorgeous. I don't tend to wear gold, so I purposely avoided gold. However, I am quite fond of rose gold! So my first choice was the Miss Eponine in Rose Water Opal as I loved the rose colour stone in it too. I also thought it would be nice to have all the rings matching some how. It would make my hand look super pretty with them all on and I thought it would be nice for this post to have a theme! So I found the Elinor ring in Silk which seems to have a rose gold looking gem in the middle which would match perfectly. This one is silver, which is my faave over gold so I thought the next ring I choose should just be silver. I went for the Miranda in Crystal. I wasn't 100% sure from the website pictures, how accurate the colours would be in person but when they arrived, they were exactly as I expected, and as you can see they look stunning worn all together!
Aside from the beauty of the rings, a super selling point for me is the ability to adjust the band by squeezing or stretching. I have really narrow fingers, it is always a struggle getting rings to fit, sometimes even the smallest size doesn't fit or its not available. So the benefit of being adjustable really is priceless for me. The rings do take a bit of working to get them to fit properly but I think this mimics the quality of the metal and I know they aren't going to easily misshape after wear. Even if you don't have stupidly small fingers like me, it is a nice feature to be able to wear the rings as midi rings which I think looks particularly nice with the three I chose.
Overall, I'm really in love with these rings. I'm pretty fussy with what I wear on my hands, but I can definitely see myself wearing these very often, if not daily. My favourite is the opal rose one, it's so stunning and nothing like I've already got. I'm really impressed with the quality, I will update this post on how they are looking in a few months. I love the fact you can adjust the rings and Lily & Rose stock a number of rings that match and can be worn together.
