Lifeguarding was the number one
role I requested to do during the Cultural Exchange Program at Disney World.
And I got my first choice! Before I went on the program I felt there was a lack
of blog posts on guarding, which would have helped me prepare so much more if
they had existed. This post will tell any potential Disney lifeguards
everything there is to know about the role, what to expect and what it really
means to be a guard in Disney World!
OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!
After thinking I'd made an absolute fool of myself and completely thrown away this incredible opportunity at my recruitment event, a couple days later I got the email from Yummy Jobs inviting me to THE FINAL INTERVIEW STAGE!!!!
If you're lucky enough to have had your application approved then congratulations! Yummy Jobs get 1000's of applications, not everyone can be approved so you've done amazingly well to get this far! The next step is to attend the first interview stage which is known as a 'Recruitment Event'. From reading other blogs, this stage used to be a telephone interview so you never know, next year's set of applicants could return to telephone interviewing.
This e-mail was such a surprise!!! I'd been invited to a regional recruitment event!
I was pretty happy!
